Welcome

I am a BACP registered psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist, with many years experience. I work with a wide range of people from many different walks of life.

In addition to a private practice based in Kidlington (4 miles north of Oxford) I work with students and staff at a local theological college and have worked with practitioners in the NHS. I see people for both long term psychotherapy and short- term focused counselling. When we meet we will assess your needs and decide together which way of working suits you best.

Sometimes people find themselves deeply unhappy, they may feel that they have lost their way and/or may feel very alone, and find it difficult to talk with family and friends. Talking with a therapist can be very helpful. I provide a safe, confidential and caring space.

I would work with you to help you understand your feelings and reactions to events in your life and help you to think about how you may change the things that are not working for you.

I work with wide range of problems including:

  • anxiety and depression
  • low self-esteem
  • loss and bereavement
  • relationship problems
  • life crises and transitions
  • work related issues and stress
  • trauma
